Mersey Lyell In Home Childcare operates along the North West Coast and meets the needs of children and their families by providing high quality childcare in the families home. In Home Childcare is personalised care in the comfort and security of the childs own home. Educators (carers) develop genuine bonds with the children, recognising and building on the childs current strengths and interests.
The In Home Childcare Coordination Unit works together with educators (carers) and families for the safety and wellbeing of children by supporting families in finding a suitable educator, ensuring high quality outcomes for children and families. Educators (carers) are passionate about learning through play, using the spontaneous and planned moments to build upon a childs existing knowledge and skills to enhance their learning. The Coordination Unit and educators (carers) are committed to meeting and exceeding the National and State Child Care Standards.
In Home Childcare offers a flexible service for families that require full-time, part-time, roster, evening, weekend or school holiday care. In Home Childcare is especially suited to children and families who have additional needs a child or parent with a disability, children with medical needs or who require ongoing intensive support.
Eligibility Criteria: If you are unable to access Family Day Care or Centre Based Care plus one of the following: you or your child have a disability or you live in a rural or remote area or you work shift work or non standard hours or you have three or more children under school age then you may be eligible for In Home Childcare. The Commonwealth Government provides assistance through Child Care Benefit to help with the cost of child care. For more information contact the Family Assistance Office (FAO 136150).

Our Southern In Home Childcare services families in the Hobart and surrounding areas to meet the needs of children and their families by providing high quality child care in the families home.
