The In Home Childcare Coordination Unit works together with educators (carers) and families for the safety and wellbeing of children by supporting families in finding a suitable educator, ensuring high quality outcomes for children and families. Educators (carers) are passionate about learning through play, using the spontaneous and planned moments to build upon a childs existing knowledge and skills to enhance their learning. The Coordination Unit and educators (carers) are committed to meeting and exceeding the National and State Child Care Standards.

In Home Childcare offers a flexible service for families that require full-time, part-time, roster, evening, weekend or school holiday care. In Home Childcare is especially suited to children and families who have additional needs a child or parent with a disability, children with medical needs or who require ongoing intensive support.

Eligibility Criteria: If you are unable to access Family Day Care or Centre Based Care plus one of the following: you or your child have a disability or you live in a rural or remote area or you work shift work or non standard hours or you have three or more children under school age then you may be eligible for In Home Childcare.
